5. SMS MESSAGING PROGRAM
In Short: We operate an SMS program to send transactional messages to users who have provided explicit opt-in consent. Mobile information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Program Description
Riverside Hawks Health, Hope and Hoops operates an SMS messaging program (the “Riverside Hawks SMS Program”) to communicate with families and program participants regarding enrollment inquiries, program confirmations, event reminders, and follow-up communications related to our youth basketball and academic programs.
How You Opt In
SMS consent is collected through a checkbox on our program inquiry and enrollment forms. By checking the SMS consent checkbox, you expressly consent to receive transactional text messages from Riverside Hawks Health, Hope and Hoops at the phone number you provide.
Important: Providing your phone number alone does not grant permission for us to send SMS messages. Consent must be given explicitly via the opt-in checkbox. The SMS consent checkbox is not required to submit the form.
Message Types
As part of the Riverside Hawks SMS Program, you may receive:
• Program enrollment confirmations and welcome messages
• Reminders about upcoming tryouts, practices, games, or academic sessions

Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by your mobile carrier. Riverside Hawks Health, Hope and Hoops is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent, except as required by law.
